Depression

One in four of the population is affected by depression. It can happen to anyone at any time in their life. Globally the pandemic has had a huge impact on people's mental health with reports and diagnoses of depression rising steadily since 2020. This book looks at the different types of depression and both established and experimental treatments for it. It also considers the causes and symptoms of depression and ways to support those we know who may be afflicted.
